Evidence Rules
- Primary sources first: museum records, cuneiform editions, and contemporaneous documents.
- Secondary sources are labeled as interpretation, not proof.
- “Primary” means close to the artifact or record; it does not make every catalogue description or ancient claim scientifically true.
- Suppression or shutdown claims require primary legal or press documentation.
What We Log
Every download is logged with date, URL, file type, and a short justification.
The private GitHub repository contains the buildable site, research syntheses, source ledger, and compact payload index. The 491 MB, 126-file source corpus remains outside Git and must be preserved separately.
Research Workflow
- Identify primary repositories and authoritative collections.
- Download and archive primary sources under
research/sources/. - Update
research/sources/sources-log.mdandresearch/99-research-log.md. - Summarize in
research/00-research-brief.mdand expand into topic files.
How to Contribute
- Provide access to primary editions (Civil 1960/1961, OECT 5, ASJ 17).
- Share museum scans or excavation reports.
- Flag claims that need verification.
